I. Project Background: The "Guardian" of the Bogotá River

*Project Name: PTAR Canoas Wastewater Treatment Plant, Colombia

*Project Status: The largest wastewater treatment project in Colombia, designed to treat 70% of the wastewater from Bogotá city proper, significantly reducing pollution to natural water bodies.

*Core Challenges:

1. Complex Fluid Erosion: The treatment process contains a large amount of suspended particles and industrial residues, placing extremely high demands on the hardness and wear resistance of the pipe inner walls.

2. Alternating Acid-Alkali Corrosion: Wastewater treatment involves multiple chemical reactions, and the large fluctuations in the pH of the medium easily trigger intergranular corrosion of metals.

3. Geological Requirements: The plant site covers a vast area, and the pipeline system must possess excellent mechanical strength to withstand the risk of soil subsidence.

II. Shandong Runhai Steel's Customized Supply Matrix

Targeting the operational needs of large-scale urban wastewater treatment plants, Shandong Runhai Steel offers a product portfolio characterized by "corrosion resistance, high strength, and environmental friendliness": Products supplied include 2205 duplex stainless steel plates, galvanized steel pipes and fittings.

III. Technological Highlights and Industry Adaptability

1. Overcoming the "pitting corrosion" problem: The ultimate purity of stainless steel.

2. Superior mechanical support: Duplex steel and heavy-duty galvanizing.

3. Meticulous fulfillment of global standards.

IV. Significance of Cooperation: Chinese Brands Deepen Their Presence in Latin American Infrastructure

1. Contributing to South American Ecological Restoration: Participation in this internationally influential environmental project in Colombia demonstrates Shandong Runhai Steel's global competitive position in the field of specialty water treatment steel.

2. Low-carbon supply chain practices: Shandong Runhai's control of carbon emissions in the production process aligns with the sustainable development philosophy advocated by the Colombian government in the PTAR Canoas project.

3. International Leap in Brand Reputation: The successful completion of this project sets a benchmark for Shandong Runhai Steel's subsequent market expansion in Colombia and neighboring countries (such as Ecuador and Peru).

From the blueprint along the Bogotá River to the green barrier rising from the ground today, Shandong Runhai Steel's products play a vital role in every process of the Canoas wastewater treatment plant. These steels are not only the framework supporting heavy equipment, but also embody the spirit of technology and environmental protection. In the future, Shandong Runhai will continue to contribute Chinese wisdom to water environment management in more cities around the world with its high-performance steel solutions.
